New challenges in welding thin-walled pipelines: rigid demand for manufacturing liquid-cooled water distributors
With the rapid development of liquid cooling and energy storage industries in data centers, welding equipment for water distributors has become a rigid demand in production lines. The welding of thin-walled pipe fittings at intersecting lines is challenging, and improper control of heat input can easily lead to melting and leakage. The finished products also need to pass dual inspections, including high-pressure air tightness and water pressure tests.
Adhering to the philosophy of "Technology Empowers Manufacturing, Craftsmanship Builds Quality", Limaher has independently developed two types of automatic welding machines for water separators, which cater to manual single-weld scenarios and fully automated multi-weld batch production respectively. These machines are specifically designed for liquid-cooled pipelines, ensuring stability and meeting stringent sealing inspection standards.
01 ETR-TX M/400 HI·PULSE is specifically designed for flexible welding of thin-walled pipelines
Not applicable to welding of equal-diameter intersecting lines
This model is positioned as a manual water separator welding machine, capable of covering a typical ultra-thin wall automatic welding range with diameters ranging from 20mm to 160mm and wall thicknesses from 1mm to 3mm.
The equipment adopts multi-axis linkage control to achieve fully automatic welding of a single weld seam. Equipped with HI·PULSE high-performance intelligent welding power source, it enables precise control of heat input throughout the entire welding process. Equipped with an ETR400A high-current infinite rotation structure, it can accurately complete welding of intersecting lines, circumferences, and intersecting line trajectories. It is suitable for gas and liquid pipelines, gas and liquid delivery pipelines, A liquid cooling water distributors, energy storage systems, flowmeters, tees, and cross tees.

02 ETR-TX A/400 HI ·PULSE is specifically designed for fully automated multi-weld batch closed-loop processing
Not applicable to welding of equal-diameter intersecting lines
This model is positioned as a fully automatic water separator welding machine, capable of covering diameters ranging from 6.35 to 100mm and wall thicknesses from 1 to 3mm. When the water separator consists of multiple branch pipes and multiple positions and welds need to be completed on a single workpiece, the advantages of the fully automatic water separator welding machine are even more evident.

03 Three core technologies lay a solid foundation for the quality of thin-walled welding
Both devices leverage Limahe Automation's extensive experience in welding control, drawing from the MICR0-ARC process expertise accumulated through the research and development of welding ultra-thin materials at the 0.01mm level. This experience has been inversely injected into the pulse control strategy for welding water separators, enabling stable weld pools even on 1mm-thick pipe walls.
The ETR 400A infinite rotation mechanism eliminates wire entanglement and track breakage in traditional welding torch rotation and swinging, and, coupled with a multi-axis linkage system, ensures smooth and continuous intersecting line paths. The HI·PULSE power supply, through rapid-response current waveform modulation, suppresses the heat accumulation effect commonly seen in thin-walled welding. This combination enables the Limahe automatic welding machine to stably produce welds that meet water pressure testing standards, eliminating the need for repeated repair welding.
04 One-stop solution for welding challenges of thin-walled pipelines across multiple industry scenarios
In addition to the liquid cooling and energy storage fields in data centers, the two automatic welding machines for water separators can also be applied to the welding of gas and liquid pipeline components in the fields of instrumentation, military/aerospace, and machinery manufacturing.
Whether it's the manual model for rapid specification switching on the production floor or the fully automated model integrated into automated production lines for high-volume welding of water diverters, both can deliver reproducible ultra-thin-walled automatic welding results and ensure that pipeline components successfully pass both high-pressure air tightness and water pressure tests.
By solidifying welding process parameters into standardized procedures, Limahe has facilitated a leap from "reliance on hand feel" to "digital controllability" in the manufacturing of water separators, making the welding of thin-walled seals no longer a bottleneck in the production line.
Dedicated intelligent welding equipment addresses the pain points of liquid-cooled pipeline sealing
Deeply rooted in the precision welding automation industry, we have independently developed two types of water distributor welding equipment to address the pain points of liquid cooling, easy melting through of thin-walled tubes in energy storage, and difficulty in achieving sealing standards.
Relying on the three core technologies of ETR400A, namely high-current infinite rotation, multi-axis linkage, and HI·PULSE pulse power supply, precise control of heat input is achieved to avoid deformation and burnthrough of pipe fittings. The manual model is suitable for small-batch flexible production, while the fully automatic model is equipped with CCD visual positioning to efficiently complete batch processing of multiple weld seams.
